As a parent, you might feel like you spend a lot of your time talking to children and watching children's TV shows. Even though you might love everything about being a parent, you might occasionally miss interacting with and meeting adults. As a medical assistant, you won't just get to meet the people you work with; instead, you'll get to meet people on a daily basis as a part of your job. This might be just what you're looking for as a parent.

These days, it is harder to find a job doing what you have gone to college for. I went to school for graphic design and thought that I would easily be able to find a job doing what I went to school for. Unfortunately, the field is flooded with graphic design artists, which makes it very hard to get a job. I have since completed a course at a local trade school that has opened up many doors for my career.
